How we work

From first inquiry to stocked shelves

We keep the ordering process straightforward for commercial kitchens. Here is the timeline we follow for new accounts and repeat orders, so you know what to expect at each step.

Step 1 · Day 1–3

Account setup and catalog review

We confirm your business details, delivery zone, and typical order volume. You receive a tailored price sheet grouped by category — cookware, knives, pastry tools, and storage — so you can compare quantities before committing.

Step 2 · Day 4–7

Order confirmation and scheduling

Once you place an order, we verify stock levels and issue a confirmation with a delivery window for your commercial zone. For repeat buyers, we keep your preferred schedule on file to speed up future orders.

Step 3 · Week 2

Packing and dispatch

Items are packed by category with protective wrapping for knives and delicate pastry tools. Each box is labeled with the contents and your order number, so receiving and stocking takes minutes, not hours.

Step 4 · Delivery day

Receiving and quality check

Our driver arrives within the scheduled window. You inspect the shipment against the packing list, and we stay on site until you confirm everything matches. Damaged or missing items are logged immediately for replacement.

Step 5 · After delivery

Follow-up and reorder support

Within a week, we check in on product performance and ask about any items that need adjusting. Your order history stays accessible, so reordering staples like thermometer batteries or knife sharpeners takes one call.

Step 6 · Ongoing

Volume pricing and training support

As your order volume grows, we adjust quantity pricing on your regular items. For hospitality training centers, we can also coordinate bulk tool sets that match your curriculum requirements.

Terms and Clarifications

This page records the working definitions and practical limits that apply to ChefLink Express orders. Read these notes before placing a bulk order so that delivery windows, packaging rules, and product grouping match what your kitchen expects.

Order Grouping

Catalog items are grouped by category: cookware, knives, pastry tools, plating dishes, temperature probes, and storage. A single order may combine categories, but quantity pricing is calculated per category line. Mixing categories does not merge volume tiers.

Commercial Delivery Zones

Delivery scheduling applies to registered commercial zones within South Africa. Residential addresses outside these zones may require a different lead time. Confirmed delivery windows are sent after order review, not at checkout.

Product Specifications

Listed dimensions, material grades, and temperature ranges are taken from manufacturer data sheets. Minor variations may occur between production batches. If a specific tolerance matters for your workflow, request the technical sheet before ordering.

Chef Apparel Sizing

Apparel sizes follow standard South African measurements. Chef coats and aprons are cut for movement during service. If your team orders in bulk, we recommend ordering one sample unit first to confirm fit across your staff.

Return and Replacement Policy

Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Replacements are issued after the returned item is inspected. Consumable items and custom-ordered quantities are not eligible for return.
